Behind the Scenes of Douglas Rouillard
November 20 2016 | Catherine Kelemen

New Hampshire native, Douglas Rouillard, is preparing for his next film, Trust No1; a suspenseful thriller he wrote himself back in 2014. With top secret government files that could destroy U.S. National Security, and the safety of the world at hand, this film will keep its viewers on the edge of their seats guessing as to what happens next. Rouillard will be co-directing as well as starring in this film as a small town cop surrounded by risk, reward, loyalty, and mystery. With plans to be finished for the summer of 2017, he’s going to have his work cut out for him (if one would call doing what you love, “work”).

A day at work is pure enjoyment for Rouillard whose dream to work in the movie business began as a young child. His passion and love for the industry only continued to grow as he attended college in Florida and interned at Universal Studios. His dream eventually brought him all the way to LA in order to make it come true. Today, he’s excited to be able to tell stories and make them come to life through his cinematic adventures for the audience. “It’s not what you give up to do it, it’s what you are willing to sacrifice to not try,” says Rouillard about going after one’s dreams.
